Installation and Operation

The Sideline electric fireplace is designed for recessed in-wall mounting, creating a cozy atmosphere with realistic flames. It can be safely installed by attaching it to framing studs, with a recommended minimum of 8 inches of space between the top of the fireplace and your TV, mantel, or picture ceiling. The Sideline can also be installed in existing fireplace openings, as it is ventless and the sides and back remain cool to the touch with the heat feature on.

The Sideline's heater can take the edge off a cool room or basement, and it can be run with no heat in warmer climates. It comes with a 6-foot power cord for a 110-120V outlet and is also hard-wire ready for in-wall installation. The unit draws a maximum of 12 amps, so it can be used on a 15-amp circuit, although a 20-amp circuit may be necessary depending on the use of other electronics on the same circuit.
